Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read our very first blog post. We are new to blogging, this is literally our first blog post ever! We wanted our first blog post to be a proper introduction of us and our company but first we wanted to say to our returning and regular customers thank you so much for all your love and support, we really appreciate it! To those of you, who are new to our website, and our products, welcome! We look forward to getting to know you and providing great products for you.

Now to the topic of the blog post, Who is Soap Etiquette?

We are a family business of three. President of our company is Bob (Dad), Vice-President is Alex (daughter) and awesome sidekick Mary Ann (mom). We make all our soaps together as a family, with healthy, cruelty free, organic ingredients. We are an online business based out of Kissimmee, Florida, USA. We specialize in Cake soaps, special occasion soaps (such as bridal shower favors, baby shower gifts etc), and facial soaps. We are not only online, but we love to set up shop at various Craft and Art festivals all over the state of Florida. To see where we will have our shop set up next check out the Upcoming Events tab on our website.

Why hand made soap?

Well because hand made soap is awesome! Besides from that.... The story behind how we started making soap starts with Alex (that's me), actually with my Yiayia (Greek for Grandma). Many moons ago my grandmother taught me a recipe to make authentic Greek Olive Oil soap. My skin absolutely loved it! I've suffered with acne for all my teen years and my young 20's and really the only help I've received is from natural hand made soap. So I decided I would make more soap, and I would make this soap for my friends and my family to use. I started to learn that there were more fun creative things I could do with making natural soap, so I started to research and experiment. Eventually I learned I could make colorful soap, and fun smelling soap, I learned I could make soap that looks like a cake slice. I was having so much fun with soap making that my dad decided to give it a try.

Some background info on my dad (Bob) he has a degree in Fine Arts. He is one of the most talented, and creative persons Ive ever known. Soap making for me was so fun, he wanted to give it a try. Soap making became for him a way to express his artistic abilities and thus he created some of the most beautiful soap I've ever seen. His talents, and my skill for making balanced soap recipes, we created a business together as a family and decided to name it Soap Etiquette.

We have been making soap together now for two years and it has been a beautiful journey and fun experience as a family. Please follow us in our day to day endeavors, and experiences through this blog. I will share some info on ingredients, health benefits of natural soap, funny stories, and soap making tips. We love you guys and thank you so much for all your support, We look forward to making more products you will love!
